Our office, directed by Lawyer Dr. Ümit Kılınç and his team, is located in Strasbourg, a city also known as the “capital of Europe” as it hosts the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), the Council of Europe and the European Parliament.
Dr. Ümit Kılınç worked at the ECHR as an expert lawyer after having obtained his master’s (LL.M.) and doctoral degrees (Ph.D.) from the University of Strasbourg. He currently exercises his profession as a lawyer and is a member of the Strasbourg Bar Association. At the same time, he teaches in the Faculty of Law (University of Strasbourg).
Dr. Kılınç Ümit Kılınç worked as an assistant professor in France in 2012 and 2013 in the Faculty of Law (University of Réunion). He has written numerous academic articles and essays on contemporary issues, both of which have been published in Turkish and French.
Our office provides legal consultancy and litigation to all companies and persons in France on different systems (French, Turkish and European). Thanks to its location and the expertise of Dr. Ümit Kılınç, our office also provides legal assistance with respect to applications lodged with the ECHR, including those concerning requests for the application of an interim measure.
